I worked in a team of 5 people to help future-proof small business's online presence. I was paired with a web designer to work on touching up already existing sites.
For Lanark Cedar we wanted to reduce user friction and follow best practices. We followed the best practices that they were lacking.
This was a SquareSpace site. By the end of the quick 3 weeks we spent with them, we added a sticky header to help reduce user friction when navigating the shop. We also used the brown color from their logo and make that color the branding color for the site. The footer was given this brown color.

We also removed any broken links and added clickable links in the footer for their email, phone, and location.
